Harp and Farm with Brayden and Tali Waller
Thursday Sep 08, 2022
Thursday Sep 08, 2022
In this episode hear the why behind the harp and farm internship program. Why music and why farming? Looking at scripture, there are many amazing things to discover as to how important worship and the caring for the land are.
Looking back over my (Brayden) life I see that God has been weaving together the threads of agriculture and discipleship, the harmony of singing and planting, the melody of the harp and the rhythm of the farm. And so was born the idea of an internship that reflects these things that so impacted me: Harp and Farm. “Harp”, representing worship and prayer and “Farm” representing gardening and animal husbandry.
This journey of nurturing nature combined with drawing near to God is one of the most basic desires that God has placed in the heart of humanity since its first breath in Genesis. We invite you to come be a part of the Harp and Farm internship! Expect to grow as you grow things. Expect to be filled with love as you spend time in The Fathers Presence. Expect meaningful fellowship with others who are on the same journey of discovering the awesomeness of God. Expect to be drawn to Yeshua in a deep and life permeating way. Go to www.loveandpurity.com and click on the "harp and farm" tab to find out more.
This internship is scheduled to start up in the spring of 2023.

Prevailing Through Afflictions with Brayden and Tali Waller - Psalm 129
Thursday Sep 01, 2022
Thursday Sep 01, 2022
Israel prevails through affliction! Genesis 32:28 says, “And He said, ‘Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.’”
By recalling the affliction and subsequent victory that Israel repeatedly experienced, they would stand assured that no matter what, God would not allow the enemy to prevail.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Ps. 34:19).
Afflictions mature the righteous and can also bring sinners to repentance, as with Manasseh. “Now when he was in affliction, he implored the LORD his God...... Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God” (2 Chron. 33:12-13).
Listen in to learn the truths this Psalm has to share about prevailing over afflictions. Most importantly, see how Yeshua bore our afflictions so that we can be free.

God the Garden Planter with Brayden Waller and Jeremiah Aviel
Thursday Aug 11, 2022
Thursday Aug 11, 2022
The Bible has a lot to say about plants and animals! Whether it is a parable about the kingdom of heaven or a reference to us being like sheep in need of a shepherd, the Bible is chock full of seeds and creatures. I am sure you know about the divine wisdom that God gave Solomon. What was his wisdom about?
We are told in 1 Kings 4:33 "Also he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree of Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish."
Isn't that amazing! God has lessons to teach us from His creation and Solomon, the wisest man of his time, talked about creation with divine insight.
Listen to this podcast to hear a conversation about God's love for land, animals and the people He has called to steward them.

The Reward of Happy Fathers - Psalm 127
Wednesday Jun 22, 2022
Wednesday Jun 22, 2022
When thinking about the rewards of God, we tend to think of the eternal rewards that will be given to us in the life to come. However, there is a reward from God that we don’t need to wait until the next life to receive, and that is the gift of children. I will forever be grateful for parents who took this verse seriously and decided to receive as many rewards as God would bless them with.
This reward of children can also apply to spiritual children as well. With this being the exact middle verse in the Psalms of ascent as a whole you could say that at the heart of this ascending journey is the importance of discipling the “children” we are given. As you invest your life into others by mentoring and discipling them you will experience the thrill of raising up the next generation who will continue to carry the torch.
While not mentioned once in the first half of the Psalms of Ascent, children are given special attention in the latter half. Here are some examples:
Psalm 128:3 “Your children like olive plants all around your table. Yes, may you see your children’s children.”
Psalm 132:12 “If your sons will keep My covenant and My testimony which I shall teach them, their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore.”
In the latter half of our own journey we are able to invest more into the generations to come.
Keep going up and while you're at it grab the hand of someone who is "young in the faith" and help them climb as well!
