Song of Songs 32: A Recap of the Song of all Songs

Join us for a walk through this amazing Song!   The big picture view of the Song of Songs' primary themes help us to tie the pieces together on the journey to maturity.  The Holy Spirit is intent on making the Bride ready and birthing desire within her for more of the Bridegroom.  This Song inspires the heart cry of a people who are wholly committed to the first and great commandment of loving God with all their hearts.  Be encouraged to embrace the journey! 

Song of Songs 31: Make Haste My Beloved!

Coming back to the original theme of the vineyard, the bride and groom are once again among the vines and enjoying the fruit of their labors.  It has been a long journey to get here but God has done just as He promised and completed the work He began in the heart of the bride.   

 

    Listen in as we unpack the last verses of this glorious song.  It is here in the final verses that we get a glimpse of where we are headed.  In gaining a clearer picture of where we are going we are strengthened in our resolve to take the baby steps required to get there.  Seeing the mature love of the bride encourages us to press on in the journey of sanctification as we become all that God intends us to be as a people who love Him above all.   

Song of Songs 30: A Wall or a Door

    Will the little sister be a wall or a door?  Will she be a wall, upholding virtuous  boundaries to protect her heart and physical purity?  Or will she be a door that opens to just whoever wants to come in?  

    The bride makes it clear that she is a wall.  Here at the end of her journey she has no question about her identity.   She is an impermeable wall of resistance to all that would seek to steal her single hearted devotion to her beloved.  The bride of the Lamb will also be a wall, standing strong in love and resisting every cultural trend that hinders the purity that she is called to.   

      Be encouraged to make the Bridegroom your first priority in every decision!

Song of Songs 29: The Seal of God On Your Heart!

 As the bride reaches the climax of her journey she sees the immense value of love.  Everything else pales in comparison.  Wealth and social status are utterly despised when compared to embracing the seal of the Bridegroom's love on her heart.    The fleeting pleasures of this life are brought into proper perspective as we choose the eternal pleasures of being in the presence of the Bridegroom.  As Psalm 36 says, "you give them drink from the river of Your pleasures". 

     It is these pleasures that make the bride confident in the face of trials and disappointments.  May you be blessed to know this love that is truly "better than life"! 

Song of Songs 28: Learning to Lean

The wilderness of pain and hardship is not a place we naturally sign up for.   Yet, in the wisdom of God, it is through this wilderness vale that the bride is purified and brought to maturity in love.   She comes up in total and humble dependence, leaning on the One who has gone ahead to overcome the world on her behalf.  If you are going through a wilderness right now be encouraged in this podcast to hold fast to your beloved, trusting in Him to bring you forth in victory as you lean on Him every step of the way.
